AGM 2022

The Bishop's Stortford Lifesaving Club Annual General Meeting was held on 13th March 2022 at Grange Paddocks Leisure Centre Community Room.

A summary of the meeting follows:

These were received from Darren Foreman and Paula Mothersole

The following officers were elected:

Membership fees are due on 1 April - Individuals £6, Family £10 (same prices for children and adults).

Weekly fees: a reminder that if making them online, please pay on the day or the day after.

Pool prices have increased. An arrangement has been made to phase the increase over 18 months but means that BSLSC will be operating at a slight deficit in 2022 so fees will likely go up again in January 2023.

Pool will be closed on 12th June - we will produce notices on social media and reminders closer to the time.

A request for email contact details to be completed was made, so that the club can contact members by email with notices and relevant updates.

Next meeting to be in March 2023 - date TBC.

Meeting closed at 09:15

At the Club's AGM, our Chairman Barry Ellis was able to present a Club Certificate of Thanks to Nikki Ealey and a Friends of the Royal Lifesaving Society Certificate to Mark Norbury for their commitment to BSLSC. Both are key members to our club and we appreciate the time they volunteer as Trainers and Committee members.

We also add our sincere thanks to all of the Club's committee for their support of the club.

Notice of AGM - Sunday 13th March 2022

Please join us us for the Club's AGM in the Community Room at Grange Paddocks, starting just after our session on Sunday 13th March 2022 at 09:10am.

All are welcome, we look forward to seeing your there!
