The Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS UK) works in communities so everyone can safely enjoy being in, on and around water. Their mission is to be the leader in lifesaving and lifeguarding in the UK and Ireland.
The Bishop's Stortford Life Saving Club (BSLSC) is a branch of the RLSS and works to teach these critical skills primarily to children and young adults.
The RLSS Rookie Lifeguard scheme introduces key techniques of self-rescue before moving on to introduce and train how to provide safe and secure rescue and assistance of others in difficulty in the water.
Training available for 7-13 year olds, at Grange Paddocks Pool, on Sundays from 07:55-08:55am.

For 12 years onwards, the RLSS National Lifesaving Academy develops valuable life skills teaching water rescue and life saving in pool, open water or beach environments.
Training available on Sundays at Grange Paddocks Pool from 07:55-08:55am.
